Quality Policy

We at Sri Balamurugan Trading Co, aim to produce edible and industrial grade common salts that match the international quality standards. Since all the processes involved in the manufacturing cycle are carefully controlled we assure our customers products that excel in quality and reliability. Being associated with a product that finds its uses in the day-to-day life of people, we strive hard to implement Zero Defects principle to ensure that the end users are satisfied with the quality and quantity of our products.

Administration

Our administrative office is located in the heart of the city and has close proximity to the Tuticorin Port Every department of our company is headed by experts in their respective domains. Our entire office is networked with sophisticated Information System. Our administration and accounting operations are fully computerized.

Salt Fields

Sri Balamurugan Salt Trading Co is having their own 200 acres of saltpans in the salt town of Tuticorin. These saltpans are feeded with bore well and sea brine. These saltpans are very near to the Bay of Bengal. These ideal climates and the type of soils are very suitable in manufacturing quality salts. Most of these salt fields are well connected with highways. A well-built infrastructure in combination with a skillful workforce of 600 people forms the foundation for our growth and success.

Quality Control

Our company mainly focuses on production of high quality salts and salt-based chemicals. Our dedicated quality control department always ensures hygienic and high-grade produce. We always assure to give quality product and timely service.

Packing

We are using hygienic standard in packing and stitching. We are supplying our products from 0.5 kg to 1-ton jumbo bags. And also we are having our own storage points. This factor helps us to maintain the quality of our salts and other salt chemicals.

Transportation

We are having our own transport division. In this we are operating Heavy trucks, Tippers and Lorries. This help's us to deliver our products safely to our clients cost effectively on time.
